This one's called the "Strict" version cause I had to make it less pessimistic and more enjoyable. Again, like the previous version, this one too draws inspiration from that piece of poetry by Heine.

The first two paragraphs are same in both versions of the poem. Though paragraphs 3 and 4 are different from paras 4 and 5 of the Lenient version, they offer the same meaning.

"memories" in line 18 agrees with "wounds" of line 17 and similarly "Lost Hearts" of line 20 agrees with "blessings" of line 19.

"oneness" in line 22 refers to the entity and the inner-self of the protagonist.

Pay attention to the last line of the poem. Both refers to one, WE and two FOREVERNESS. Explaining further would be beyond my scope at this moment. I hope you can draw some sense out of it. It says a lot if you listen to it  :)

 

Again, this version too serves as my acceptance of the eternity of Love.

Just as the innocent leaves tremble
Before being devoured by the wind,
I feel my heart quivering
And I know I haven’t sinned.

‘twas only love that I committed
Only love did I fulfill,
Yet I feel my life being drained,
Like the sands in the hourglass will.

 

Like the candle that’s lit by the fire,
