If you are getting a message about a certificate authority that is not
recognized or trusted by your browser, please read the following:
Your browser retrieves location information from the Aura People
Locator service. This information is sensitive and should be protected from
spoofing attempts by intermediaries. Therefore,
any data exchanged between your browser and the Aura People Locator
service secret is encrypted before it is sent over the
network.
To be able to process this encrypted data, your browser needs
a certificate from the Aura People Locator service.
You should accept this certificate on your browser's behalf in one of
the following ways:
-
Accept the certificate for the current session. You will then have to
re-accept the certificate for future sessions.
-
Accept the certificate permanently. Your browser will store this
certificate and re-use it for future sessions.
-
Download CMU's
server certificates and install them. These certificates allow you
to access secure services provided within CMU in a transparent
way. After installing the certificates, try to log in again.
