Brief Bio

Brigham Anderson is a Post Doctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. For the past two years, he has worked in the Auton Lab applying probabilistic models to applications such as biosurveillance, user modeling, and active inference in general probabilistic models. Brigham graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003, where he obtained his PhD under Andrew Moore in the School of Computer Science. His thesis work dealt with inferring galactic morphology from images and nonparametric optimization.
