About me

I am the faculty Reappoints & Promotions Coordinator in the Institute for Software Research at Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, I am executive assistant to the senior faculty member Mary Shaw.

I am originally from the Bronx, New York (and liked it very much, thanks) and have traveled to many places before settling in the Burgh.

My darling hubby, Troy Jones, brought me here after a long search to find the perfect home. I was searching for the right balance of nature, culture, parks and walking amenities, and I never thought I would find all that in Pittsburgh!

I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, biking, rollerblading, dancing, travelling, and being lazy when I have the time. Currently, I am in the process of trying to get published as a children's book author.

I am also a vegetarian. :)
