Currently I am PhD student in absentia at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute where I worked with Jessica Hodgins studying agility in humanoid bipeds.
I founded Whisper Systems with Moxie Marlinspike in the spring of 2010 and sold it to Twitter in the winter of 2011.
I organized the Roy Gee Biv festival with Melissa St. Pierre
I demonstrated the Orphic Brachistochronal Supercollider for the second annual "Build Your Own Instrument Show, Memorial Day Observed Show"
I performed with tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE's HiTEC Orchestra in 2008 and 2009.
With Stacey Kuznetsov I built a Reuben's Tube, which we demonstrated at the 2008 Rossums Ruckus.
With Moxie Marlinspike I wrote Barada, a two factor authentication application that integrates with Linux's PAM system and the Google Android cellphone platform.
I was invited to create a piece for the "Meet the Made" show at the Mattress Factory Gallery, and collaborated with Shaun Slifer again to create Enoch's Hammer
I helped to organize BikeBike 2007.
With Shaun Slifer I built a kinetic tumbleweed sculpture, "Welcome Home, Pioneer", for a Rossums show at the TRAF Gallery. We have completed a web site documenting the project.
I've spent varying amounts of time at the Free Ride collective bike shop since 2003.
I chaired the Political Speaker's committee of the Carnegie Mellon Activities Board from 2004-2007.
I worked in Metin Sitti's nanorobotics lab during the summer of 2004.
