T3D Homework 1

  1. The T3D uses a dateline per dimension to avoid deadlock. Explain why on dateline is not sufficient for the entire torus.
  2. The T3D has 4 virtual channels, two for request and two for response. Explain why 4 VC's are suffient independant fo the number of dimensions.
