Here are some pictures I found on the net. I tried to give a feeling for some of the great places all over Brasil. However, this is not possible with limited amount of disk space, so I did my best. Also, some of these pictures have low resolution, but I found them on some of the links I previously listed, so if you want, try following those too.

Let's start with a map...

  • Yes, we do have some florests...
  • A view of the florest (180K)
  • An igarape, a very small river by amazonic standards (50K)
  • If you feel like going to a nice beach we have some 8000Km of them... These ones are in the Northeast. Some cities too, its not all beaches you know.
  • A beach in Fortaleza (73K), and another one (270K).

  • I consider Belo Horizonte (190K) my home town.
  • Close to Belo Horizonte there is Ouro Preto (40K), a historical town, where important events took place in the 18th century. Here is another (larger) view of Ouro Preto (80K).
  • Also in Ouro Preto and other historical towns, there are many sculptures of the famous Aleijadinho (140K).
  • A view of Rio de Janeiro (83K)
  • A view of a nice and quiet small town, Sao Paulo (75K)
  • The center part has some beautiful spots, and the nation's capital.
