Test Inspection Platform - proprioceptive view
This was taken from a pair of modified Samsung monochrome board cameras. They are mounted on an arm C-clamped to the Test Inspection Platform. The surface is a piece of belly skin from a DC-9 laid flat on the bench (making the barrel distortion of the lenses obvious). The stereoscopic camera for inspecting the aircraft skin (the small white box with black ends) provides a true (x, y, and z) magnification of 3.75 times normal. Home
