Here's my fried rice recipe...it's really basic first cook your rice and put it in the fridge...it cooks better that way. scramble the egg in the wok and put aside sautee about 1/4 cup onions and slowly add the rice to the onions, browning it as you go. Add soy sauce to taste. Add egg, mushrooms, soy-basted chicken, frozen peas..whatever. My husband swears by this somewhat haphazard recipe. As far as I can tell everybody has their own slight variation on what they like (more soy, less soy..etc) and I just felt around a lot of variations until I came up with a "feel" for it.
