Part of the draw of 3D printing is being able to make whatever item is needed by you at a given time. In this project, a replacement part was made for a Makerbot Replicator 2 using a 3D Printer. After taking measurements with a digital caliper, the part was able to be recreated in SolidWorks and installed in the faulty printer.
