Weather Station
Nomad has a weather station on board as well. Researchers will be able to
tell the weather conditions in the desert without being there. Nomad is able
to report on:
- total rainfall
- barometric pressure
- inside/outside temperature
- wind speed
- wind direction
- inside/outside humidity
Why is the weather station important?
The weather study is a part of remote science. Scientists will be able to study
the weather conditions of far away places without ever having to go there.
Imagine finding out how cold the center of the North Pole is while you were in
sunny California!
