The observation system records the human hand motion together with the
hand-object interaction. The modality of sensing is unrestricted; vision,
dataglove, and tactile/force sensing may be used.
The observation system that we use is shown in the picture at the top. The
observation system comprises the light-stripe rangefinder, a monochromatic
CCD camera, a dataglove (Cyberglove), and a 6DOF tracker (Polhemus device).
