Applications are being accepted for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor (Ph.D. in Computer Science) or Instructor (ABD) teaching undergraduate courses in Computer Science. In exceptional cases, candidates more senior will be considered. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in teaching and able to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the Department; research, particularly involving undergraduates, is encouraged. The Department is committed to continuous improvement of its curriculum and expects the successful candidate to become a part of this process. Duties include teaching three courses each semester.

The Department offers a major in Computer Science and minors in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics. Resources include a Sun Workstation laboratory with a SPARC 10 server, a 486/Pentium laboratory, the University VAX 4705 running under OpenVMS; all connected to the campus-wide network.
