Computer Science Faculty Position

The Department of Computer Science is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 1997. The selected applicant will be responsible for teaching a range of undergraduate courses including freshman level to special topics that include computer engineering, system software and graphics. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in computer science or related discipline, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level, and ongoing scholarship. Unix experience is a plus. Rank is dependent upon qualifications and experience. The College computing facilities include a DEC Alpha running VMS, PC, Macintosh, and Unix workstations connected over an Ethernet-based LAN. The department offers a bachelor of science degree with majors in computer science, business information systems, and computer engineering.
