Applications are solicited for tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks
starting July 1997. Prospective applicants should have an earned
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer
Science. Fields of particular interests are: communication systems,
information and signal processing, operating systems, and distributed
systems. The faculty member will be involved in teaching at both
undergraduate and graduate levels, and also will be expected to
develop a strong research program in his or her field of interest. The
Department offers MS and PhD programs in Electrical Engineering, and
Computer Science and Engineering, as well as undergraduate
programs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and
Computer Science. The Department has 42 full-time faculty, 200
full-time graduate students, and 600 undergraduate students and
typically graduates 35 MS and 15 PhDs per year. Curriculum vitae and
