Paul Heckbert's Collection of Mesh Generation Links
This is a collection of World Wide Web links to information on mesh
generation. There are also some links not specifically focused on mesh
generation, relating to computational fluid dynamics (CFD),
finite element methods (FEM), multigrid, triangulation,
and computational geometry.
The bias of these links is toward anisotropic unstructured
triangular mesh generation (and consequently toward viscous flow
applications).
Too much jargon? Try the
mini-glossary of mesh generation.
I've collected these primarily for my own use, so my link labels
are a bit cryptic and hasty.
Please let me know of significant errors or omissions.

multiresolution modeling modeling, surface simplification,

collected by Michael Garland and Paul Heckbert, Carnegie Mellon.
These methods are mostly intended for simplification of surface

mesh coarsening.
