Review by Bill Johnston
Harry Harrison is best known for the comical Stainless Steel Rat and its Many sequels. I liked the first five books (SSR, SSR's Revenge, SSR Saves the World, SSR for President, SSR Wants You), but the sixth, SSR is Born, was mediocre enough that I didn't buy SSR Gets Drafted. I tried another of his books, Invasion Earth, but the only thing I can say about that is that the idea is distinctive. I don't think it was well done or very plausible.
