Yes, it's time for Robert A. Heinlein. I haven't read all that many books by him, but I'll start with the best of these. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress is about a lunar prison colony revolt. The Past Through Tomorrow is a series of short stories which take place in the next couple of centuries, unfortunately, concluding with the first Lazarus Long story. Starship Troopers is a war novel that can be interpreted different ways, which just shows how good a book it is. The last of what I considered to be his best is Tunnel in the Sky which is about a high school class which gets stranded on a primitive planet for several years. I found Podkayne of Mars and Stranger in a Strange Land to be mediocre, and I won't bother describing them here. I didn't like The Rolling Stones which was an adventure about a family of super-geniuses, but this doesn't compare to the boredom I felt while reading The Number of the Beast and Time Enough for Love. I also found that Expanded Universe was almost entirely non-fiction and stories I had read elsewhere. Enough of this.
