This popular science book covers what modern physics has to say about the possibility of time travel. It does this by way of a science fictional story of three individuals in 2063 preparing for a time travel expidition. Each chapter is followed by a further discussion of the scientific points touched on within.

It is a story in the loose sense that if it weren't for the expository science, no one would ever be reading the story. It is in the traditional low (almost no) character-, high idea-content stuff Gernsback would have published.

I found one piece of the story background intriging. People in the future are pestered by metal insects which are equivalent to computer viruses, but created by hacker roboticists.
