Starburst by Alfred Bester

Review by Bill Johnston

Starburst by Alfred Bester is a rather nondescript collection by the author of The Demolished Man and The Stars my Destination. The only exceptional story in it is "Fondly Fahrenheit" which is of course in the SF Hall of Fame, editted by Robert Silverberg, a must read. The Demolished Man won the first Hugo award and is a very good novel, and, while The Stars My Destination comes highly recommended, I haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
