Disney Honors Memory of Randy Pausch with Fitting Tribute
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., February 4, 2009 – Marking a momentous occasion near the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Walt Disney Imagineering Executive Vice President Bruce Vaughn and Disney president and CEO Bob Iger join Randy Pausch’s close family (Dylan, Logan, wife Jai and Chloe) along with Carnegie Mellon professor Jessica Hodgins in announcing the creation of the Disney Memorial Pausch Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University.
Best-known for his life-affirming “Last Lecture,” Dr. Randy Pausch was an inspiration to millions and had a love of creative collaboration. The fellowships honor Pausch’s legacy by sponsoring graduate students in computer science and fine arts.

Mrs. Pausch and family were at the Magic Kingdom to celebrate the creation of the Disney Memorial Pausch Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University.
