Many major social organizations that are working toward a good world were invented about 100 years ago and are losing membership and vitality today. This talk describes new Internet-based social organizations that have been invented within the past 15 years. They stand as examples of organizational forms that may become widespread in the 21st century. I suggest research and management challenges that must be met if these organizational forms are to flourish and contribute to a good world.
