The amazing people at TechBridgeWorld of Carnegie Mellon University are on a mission to help developing communities around the world with innovative technology solutions.

TechCaFE is one such project that provides educators in developing communities with tools to help make learning interactive and fun in their classrooms.

Our goal is to develop an educational gaming platform, with mobile games and teacher tools, for a class held at CMU Qatar that provides English education to migrant workers.

Brain Race

Our first game on this platform is Brain Race, an endless racing game where you have to keep answering questions to stay in the race.

Brain Race combines skill-based gaming with knowledge-based quizzing into one action-packed addictive package that is super easy to pick up and play.

User testing with English students in Qatar has shown great success, with many students unwilling to put the game down during class.

Teacher Portal

Teacher Portal allows teachers to easily manage questions and questions sets to be used in games built on the TechCaFE games platform.

Future plans include tracking and analytics of students' performance on different questions.
