Pratt is caught in the hayloft with a farmer's
daughter. When the farmer is found murdered, Pratt is
accused of the crime. He escapes from the town jail after
being convicted by a kangaroo court and sets out to find the
bald man who can clear him of the murder. He and Bartok
pose as Gypsies and then as a priest and a doctor.
