Participation in the Bundeswettbewerb Mathematik (National Mathematics Competition). 1993 I advanced to the second round where I was awarded a first price. I was invited to the third and final (colloquial) round.

My supervisor is Thorsten Altenkirch, PhD, and I hold a scholarship of the Graduiertenkolleg Logik in der Informatik (PhD program Logics in Computer Science, Prof. Schwichtenberg), which is part of the Deutsche Forschungs-Gemeinschaft (German Research Association).

Miscellaneous

I am very interested in music and play the piano and the drums. Since February 1989 I am a youth leader in the YMCA Munich. I have participated in the partnership program between Munich and Colombo YMCA and visited Sri Lanka in 1997 and 1999.
