Programs that let you retrieve information using the World Wide Web

Here are some features to look for in a Web browser:

• Does it support incremental loading of graphics files, or do you have to load an entire Web page before you can look at it?
• Does it give you a graphical overview of where you've been, or just 'back' and 'forward' buttons?
• What sort of support for security does it provide?
• Does it support fill-in forms?
• Does it allow you to specify your own external viewers to look at graphics, sound, and video files?
