Introduction

This assignment is about using information from a Web site to create a Poster. Start by picking a topic that interests you from one of the Scavenger Hunt Web sites. For example, you might pick dolphins, or the Maya Indians, or animal migration.

A poster consists of three parts: 1) topic information, 2) information about your sources, and 3) pictures. The next three sections of the worksheet describe how to collect each type of information.

Topic Information

Find information about your topic in 4 subject areas. Find at least 3 facts about each subject area.

For example, suppose the Web site is about alligators. One subject area might be "What Alligators Look Like", and it might contain information such as size, weight, color, or number of teeth. A second subject area might be "Alligator Habitat", and it might contain facts about the areas where alligators live.
