Aura

I and four other graduate students conducted a couple rounds of research, employing several techniques such as directed storytelling, diary study, card matching, and MakeTools, to create a novel product or service that would exploit universal high bandwidth. We found a need to support low attention, emotional communication between immediate and extended family. We created and refined a prototype that combined an ambient display of activity information of loved ones with a virtual space to share photos, home movies, and other media with these loved ones.
