Through extensive user research, our team designed and prototyped a digital music player for seniors to be used in their homes. Our resulting design prototype is called inTune, a music player which enhances social connections with friends and family through sharing of music with personalized cards.

This web process book has been compiled to provide a better understanding of our research efforts, underlying thought process, design methodologies, and prototyping process. These focus areas are organized into the following categories: Research , Synthesis , Design , and Solution.

inTune's design focuses on four themes that were drawn from our user research and focus group feedback:

• Simplicity
• Portability
• Familiarity
• Social Connections

Our project culminated in the construction of a physical prototype, along with a video sketch depicting the interaction with the inTune music player.
