Final exam guidelines
Material to be examined: From the textbook (R&G, edition
3):
- Chapters 1-5
- Chapters 8-20
- Chapter 28.1-4,6
- all the material on the lecture foils (except 'Data Warehousing & Data Mining' and except 'Distributed DBMSs')
Additional information:
- The exam questions will be very similar to the
exercises in the textbook, to the midterm questions and to the
homework exercises.
- No aids allowed (no books, no notes, no laptops) - only
a calculator and 2
letter-size pages (you may use all 4 sides)
- Make sure you bring a
calculator - several of the
questions will require numerical results.
- The exam will be comprehensive, with more emphasis on the
material after the midterm
