MINCE ‐ bucketing-based reference-free compression

MINCE

MINCE is a technique for encoding collections of short reads so that they can be more effectively compressed via a standard compressor like LZIP.

Binaries for the latest version of Mince for Mac OS X and Linux can be downloaded here.

The MINCE software is written in C++11 and is availble here under an open-source license.
