NESPaint is a sprite painting tool designed to work with Bob Rost's NES programming tools: nbasic and nesasm. It is intended to automate as much of the content wrangling process as possible. It is in the very early stages of development. Feedback is welcomed and appreciated.
Currently under debate is NESPaint's rather liberal color selection. It is believed that some support for a more constrained "picking your palette first" approach would be better.
There is also a need for background tile support. This will show up as soon as I learn more about it in class.
