other player who later turned out to be in Virginia.  I randomly generated
the list, subject to the following constraints:
 - Each new player targets a veteran player, and vice versa
 - rlambert does not wish to target aij (personality conflict)
 - the player targeting mlowry gets mlowry's target as well, in case 
mlowry has gone inactive.
 - (later): rszewczy would like to join the game, if I get the chance to 
insert her into the ring.
