Game 0:
Ran individual presessions for each character. Characters played through
the night of Boccob 14 in CE 370, later called the Night of Madness.
A cry went out, somewhere to the north of Landing. People heard it, and
marched north. Some people had strange magical powers; everyone
experienced a boost to their Charisma. Party members tried to create
order from the chaos, and prevent people from marching north in their
brain-addled state.
Game 1:
Aftermath of the Night of Madness. Party members were summoned by one
Lady Spooner, previously in charge of covert ops, now acting head of
government. Most of the Spooner line had flown north during the night.
The rival noble houses had united under the control of Lord George
Saucer, who had taken over the palace. Party's goal: Evict Lord Saucer
and retake the palace as rightful rulers of Landing.
Initial skirmishes with Lord Saucer proved painful: he had a wide
array of new, previously-unknown powers, and his minion nobles seemed
pretty strong as well. Frustrated, party went and burned down his house
for no obvious reason.
