This is the top of the first issue of ABLE WINS, a two-page newsletter produced in 1989 by the Association for Better Living and Education International. (See "Narconon & Scientology: Organisations" for more information on ABLE.) It was distributed to Scientologists to inform them of the establishment of ABLE, previously the Social Coordination bureau of the Guardian's Office, and to publicise its purpose. According to the Form 1023 submitted to the US Internal Revenue Service by the Church of Scientology International (CSI), ABLE is the supervisor and director of "the bulk of CSI's social betterment program." |
