 some type of growth, attached to an oak leaf. (found 18 Sep 1997 in Schenley Park, Pittsburgh.) |
 a headless psychedelic hedgehog is what it looks like to me. |
 each hair sprouts from a kind of drupelet. |
 I feel some temptation to dissect it. |
 black cigar-shapes sprout through the other side of the leaf. |
 the magenta hairs and yellow body were more colorful six years ago. |
