Summary of the feedback

Thank you very much for your feedback; if you have other comments, please feel free to email them or put anonymous notes into my mail box. I will try to improve the course according to your comments. The following summary shows the main concerns.

The instructor should give more examples and intuitive explanations.
Homeworks should be easier.
They should also be smaller and more similar to exam questions.
Late-submission penalty is too large.
Bonus problems are a good idea.
The course should include a review of the related mathematics.
In the end of every lecture, the instructor should tell the topic of the next class.
The textbook is not sufficiently helpful.
The instructor should not use the bottom of the blackboard.
