George Edward Bulwinkle

George Edward Bulwinkle

George Edward Bulwinkle is a Senior Research Programmer in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. He received the B.S. degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1995.

Since 1993, he has been working at the Digital Mapping Laboratory at Carnegie Mellon, pursuing research in the areas of computer vision, cartographic feature extraction, aerial image understanding and GUI design. He has performed and published research in hyperspectral imagery analysis, semi-automated building extraction, and performance analysis tools and software for rigorous evaluation of cartographic feature extraction systems.

Mr. Bulwinkle is a member of ACM, IEEE, and Sigma Xi.
