Overview

The Ferret series compose a class of borehole-deployable robotic laser scanning systems. These devices are lowered from a surface base station into an underground void several hundreds of meters below ground level. Once situated in the void, these systems perform 3D scans to create metric models of the surrounding subterranean space. These devices are suited for dry and submerged environments and come equipped with a host of sensors and camera for remote data acquisition and analysis.
