Rent, August 1998

The first weekend of August 1998, Broderick and I went to New York City to see Rent with a group of friends from IRC.  Broderick and I stayed with Alex and Susan who I used to work with back at the INI in the NetBill days.  Alex also attended the INI Master's program the same year as I did.

Here you can see Alex's love and devotion for Susan as he feeds her a snack.

While in NYC, Broderick and I took a boat tour around Manhattan.  You could see the apartment building Alex and Susan live in in Jersey City from the tour.  The building has a real nice view of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline.

Rent.  A great show, I really enjoyed it.  I can't wait to get back to see some more shows.

As you can see, I thought this ad was well done, and was a masterpiece of good design and taste.

Me looking very scared outside of Stonewall. I'm not sure why I looked like this, except maybe the fact that people kept walking into the shot and I think some people were waiting to get into the bar, so I wanted to get the shot taken quick.  Maybe I should just edit myself out.
