I've always wanted to learn general relativity. I remember when people would say that only x (with x small) number of people in the world understand the concepts... Now, I have some understanding, although not as much as I want to. I developed a pretty healthy respect for Kip Thorne while taking the class. He has a large amount of intuition for the subject. This class was very challenging to me, especially during first term when I was learning differential geometry.
