AFS via a mount on the desktop

• aklog to create cs.cmu.edu tokens.
• Right-click anywhere on the Desktop.
• Choose New -> Shortcut.
• For location, enter \\%COMPUTERNAME%-afs\cs.cmu.edu\academic\class\15465-s08-users\%USERNAME%

  Note: %COMPUTERNAME% and %USERNAME% should be typed using those characters, NOT by substituting in the actual computer name or the actual user name.

• For a name, called it something like "15465-s08-ejain" (or something else of your choice).

Note: this might take a bit of time (a minute?) to appear on the desktop.

The instructions above are for your personal class afs space. You can access the turnin space for assignment 3 by creating a shortcut for: \\%COMPUTERNAME%-afs\cs.cmu.edu\academic\class\15465-s08\assignment_3\%USERNAME%

Or you can access the project space via \\%COMPUTERNAME%-afs\cs.cmu.edu\academic\class\15465-s08-users\cowboygori
or replace cowboygori with indianajon, orangeligh, or theseason depending on the team that you're on.

After doing this once, it should appear on your desktop each time that you log in. You will need to aklog to create cs.cmu.edu tokens each time that you log in.
