Queenstown — 15 February 2001

We slept in, yay! Once awake, we had a light breakfast — muffins and juice from the Vudu Cafe. We did some shopping for CDs and an All-Blacks rugby pullover fleece for Jen. We went to get deep-tissue massages at Body Sanctum, and I feel asleep during mine! (Jen: Carl's masseuse was the owner, Judi, who's clientele has included Chris O'Donnell. Yep, Robin.) Relaxed, we went to take a day's tour of Milford sound that I had arranged earlier, but unfortunately rain cancelled our trip. Disappointing. Jen: "I bought some yarn and then pouted as we tried to find a place to eat lunch. I'm tired of all the tourists — of which I am one. We ended up lunching on popcorn and roasted macadamia nuts while watching 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.'

Felt much better. We took a little rest at Turner Lodge before heading to Surreal for dinner. Wonderful food. Again, I discovered new music — a comp entitled Real Ibiza — at the restaurant. Went back to the CD store and bought more!" I picked up the Professor Ratbaggy disc while Jen was picking up her compilations. We went back to the B&B to pack as we had an early day coming up.
