I'm Kevin Dela Rosa an alumnus Carnegie Mellon's Language Technology Institute. In addition to my masters degree in language technology, I have a bachelors degree in Software Engineering & Physics from the University of Texas at Arlington. In the past I worked at ARRI, NIST, and SPAWAR, and collaborated with NASA MSFC folks.
My academic interests include applied machine learning, question answering, information retrieval, multimedia analysis / retrieval (music & video), and social media. Outside of work I'm interested in astrophysics, astrobiology, web development, music recording, comics, science fiction, and stand-up comedy.
After graduating from the LTI I started working for Amazon.com. Visit my official website, http://kevindelarosa.com, for more up to date information on myself. Also, if you are an LTI student interested in opportunities at amazon, feel free to drop me a line
