Back in August 2007, Kuki was diagnosed with IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), a terrible disease of the immune system. Kuki is very lucky to have ... supportive parents and an amazing vet specializing in internal medicine, only 5 minutes from her house!! A year later and several medication combination attempts (based on heavy dosages of steroids/immuno suppressors), she is back to her old self, happy, energetic, and caring. Her weight is also going down slowly but surely. [up-to-date progress below]
