(1) These kids seem to like the ride. Shot at Spring Carnival 2005 on the Carnegie Mellon campus, using a 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 at 14mm, f/11, 1/125s, ISO 100. |
(2) The 'House of Fear' booth, as seen through the E-1 with a 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 at 14mm, f/11, 1/100s, ISO 100, processed in interesting ways using the auto-tone correction of Olympus Studio to bring out more shadow detail from the raw image -- the left half was MUCH darker than the right half. |
(3) The geek in me liked this toy roller coaster by Fringe. Shot with the 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 at 14mm, f/5.6, 1/250s, ISO 400, again using auto-tone correction to bring out more detail. So far I'm liking Studio, although the Image Edit functionality is slow on my 1998-vintage computer. |
(4) The Fringe roller coaster does indeed have a moving vehicle on it. Shot with the 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 at 19mm, f/5.6, 1/250s, ISO 400. It's moving pretty fast at this point. |
(5) Kappa Delta Rho's Canaveral-themed Carnival booth. I rather liked the wall texture as it was quite well done IMHO. Shot with the 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 at 20mm, 1/320s, f/11, ISO 100, and some serious processing of the raw to bring out detail in the dark regions like the door and the vent grill. |
