Pillar of flame

(6) Flame shot with the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 at 137mm, f/3.5, 1/160s, ISO 800; cropped followed by downsizing 50%.

Twist of light

(7) To my eyes, this flame resembles an elegant, perhaps fanciful harp. This shot was again taken with the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 at 147mm, f/4, 1/160s, ISO 800; and cropped followed by downsizing 50%.

Column of flame

(8) More brightness. This particular image was taken from a closer distance, with the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 set to 76mm, f/4, 1/400s, ISO 800, and pushed during post-processing. T'was also cropped prior to downsizing 50%.

Ethereal light

(9) These flames have a rather ethereal beauty to them, don't you think? Taken with the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 at 130mm, f/4, ISO 400, 1/500s, pushed during post-processing, and cropped prior to downsizing.

Ribbon of fire

(10) A flame extends its touch upwards. Taken with the 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 at 130mm, f/4, 1/500s, pushed during post-processing, and cropped prior to downsizing.
