About me

I'm graduating in May and I am currently on the job market.

I am a fifth year PhD student in the CMU|Portugal Program. I am advised at Carnegie Mellon University by Prof. Christos Faloutsos and in the MAP-i program by Prof. Pedro Ribeiro. I am a Go and travelling fan from Oporto, Portugal.

Research interests:

My research is focused on mining patterns and anomalies in static or temporal graphs with applications to social network analysis and fraud discovery. In my work I apply a variety of standard data mining and machine learning techniques, but particularly matrix and tensor decompositions or other clustering methods on high-dimensional data.
