I am a PhD student in CMU/LTI advised by Jaime Carbonell and Eugene Fink.
My research interest is the application of Machine Learning techniques to Natural Language Processing problems. Informally: methods that can discover desired structures in text with minimal supervision. Formal research areas, in decreasing order of interest: text classification, information extractions, knowledge-based systems and ontologies, sentiment analysis, information retireval and (shallow) semantics.
Currently working on Personal Security Assitant which help the user make better security decision while browsing the Internet.
I am a Siebel Scholar, IEEE and ACL member.
