Passes Away In
Jayasingh Pandian of the PSG Tech 1978-83 batch (one year senior to us, and a friend
to many of us) passed away in May in the Middle East from a heart attack,
leaving behind 3 kids (his wife had passed away earlier).
We express our heart-felt condolences to his family and relatives.
Contributions to help the kids are being actively solicited. Please click here
for more information and contacts for making your contributions.
PSG Tech (“Tech” as it was affectionately called by us and the locals) is PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, South India. In those days, it was a so-called autonomous institution under the University of Madras. PSG Tech was rated among the top-10 engineering institutions in India in a recent ranking. Go Tech!
Ours was the last 5-year engineering batch from PSG Tech – and it excelled along very many fronts …
… so much so that there are those amongst us who believe that this was the best batch to graduate from PSG Tech. Ever! Who could argue?!
